La pandemia alter\u00c3\u00b3 gravemente la producci\u00c3\u00b3n de pescado y las cadenas de suministro. Las mujeres comerciantes de pescado se enfrentaron a una carga especialmente alta, con cambios en el comercio y la atenci\u00c3\u00b3n, pero sus voces fueron a menudo ignoradas en la cobertura de los medios de comunicaci\u00c3\u00b3n. <\/span>Cobertura medi\u00c3\u00a1tica.<\/span><\/p>\n

Nos asociamos con WorldFish y AWFISHNET para formar y desarrollar una red de reporteras comunitarias de mujeres comerciantes de pescado para entender el impacto del virus en sus vidas y crear soluciones lideradas por ellas.<\/span><\/p>\n

A lo largo de 7 pa\u00c3\u00adses africanos, 14 mujeres se unieron a trav\u00c3\u00a9s de sus tel\u00c3\u00a9fonos para llevar a cabo su propia investigaci\u00c3\u00b3n sobre el impacto de Coivd19. Desde el inicio del proyecto, la red se incorpor\u00c3\u00b3 a un grupo de WhatsApp, donde pod\u00c3\u00adan compartir historias, apoyarse mutuamente y pedir consejo.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

El grupo de mujeres particip\u00c3\u00b3 en un curso de formaci\u00c3\u00b3n a distancia de una semana (a trav\u00c3\u00a9s de <\/span>Learn.ink<\/span>) y complet\u00c3\u00b3 tareas adicionales para poner en pr\u00c3\u00a1ctica su aprendizaje. Una vez iniciado el sprint informativo de 6 semanas, utilizaron el chat de grupo para enviar sus tareas semanales, que abarcaban temas como los retos de la distribuci\u00c3\u00b3n y el acceso al mercado, el aumento de la carga de trabajo\/cuidado, y otros.<\/span><\/p>\n

A pesar de las diferentes ubicaciones, el chat digital del grupo ten\u00c3\u00ada un verdadero sentido de uni\u00c3\u00b3n en el que las reporteras de la comunidad pod\u00c3\u00adan interactuar entre s\u00c3\u00ad para mostrar inter\u00c3\u00a9s y apoyo a las historias que se compart\u00c3\u00adan.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
